How do I manually enter a visit?

Sometimes a caregiver may show up for a visit but forget or be unable to access the GEOH application.
Although it's not best practice, and may potentially lead to audits, when situations like this come up, there is an option to manually enter in visit data.

The following instructions break down what an agency administrator can do to manually enter visit information on behalf of a caregiver::

  1. Find the missed shift on the Scheduling page, or the Visits pages and click the  View button.

  2. Check into this visit, and click the No Location button. (NOTE: If the caregiver’s location is available and they are at the client’s residence, you can click the Caregiver Location button.)

  3. Enter the accurate visit information and check out of the visit. (NOTE: Click either No Location or the Caregiver Location to confirm the checkout.)

PLEASE NOTE: manually entering a visit counts as an exception and too many exceptions may lead to an audit.
