How do I manually enter a visit?

There are certain instances where a caregiver may have forgotten or unable to use the app, but was present during the visit. When situations like this arise, you have the option to manually enter in visit data.

If it’s a missed visit:

  1. Find missed shift in the Scheduling or Visits pages and click View.

  2. Check in to this visit, choose No Location. If the caregiver’s location is available and they are at the client’s residence, you can click Caregiver Location.

  3. Enter the accurate visit information and check out of the visit.

  4. Click either No Location or Caregiver Location.

If it’s an unscheduled visit:

  1. Schedule that visit and click View.

  2. Check in to this visit, choose No Location. If the caregiver’s location is available and they are at the client’s residence, you can click Caregiver Location.

  3. Enter the accurate visit information and check out of the visit.

  4. Click either No Location or Caregiver Location.

Please note that manually entering a visit counts as an exception.
